From 1 September 2026: pregnant women; all children aged 2 or 3 on 31 August 2026; school-aged children (reception to year 11, via school programme unless in an at-risk group); children in clinical risk groups from 6 months.
From 1 October 2026: everyone aged 65 and over; adults aged 18–64 in clinical risk groups; long-stay residential care homes; carers (carer's allowance or main carer of an elderly/disabled person); close contacts of immunocompromised individuals; frontline social care workers without employer-led occupational health.
From 1 September 2026: eligibility expands to adults aged 65–74 in certain clinical risk groups — chronic respiratory disease, or immunosuppression due to disease or treatment. Vaccine: Abrysvo® (Pfizer), single dose.
Administration support to increase shingles and pneumococcal uptake is still available (GM, September 2026) — confirm current arrangements with the nursing/management team.
